The high degree of professionalism, empathy and overall caring approach of all the radiotherapists, nurses and receptionists I came into contact with helped me cope with the treatment. I was able to just get on with it mainly because of them, but also the scope of the technology and science behind the treatment is staggering, so the realisation I was in the best hands was never far away.

I sincerely hope that people don't have to use the facilities here.
I would not wish that on anyone
However, if you do need a cancer operation you couldn't get better treatment anywhere in Europe

It’s been a tough week for staff at RMH but at my follow up today it felt like business as usual and there was no doubt that patient care was the top priority.
Such a fantastic team, both medical and support staff.

All staff were friendly and all questions were answered in detail. The worst Middlesex Hospital had to be used twice for the treatment of side effect. Here treatment and communication with staff was appalling. I was left with a catheter (urinary) in site form at least two weeks and the department would take responsibility for removing it. We were finally given an appointment for another six weeks time, waiting periods to see anyone about anything were interminable at West minded.
